The San Juan 21's have been around for over 20 years and their owners have modified them in a variety of ways. Travelers, adjustable backstay systems, reefing systems, Boom vang systems, and more have all been added and changed to a point that no two San Juan’s are exactly alike, yet we all still qualify for a one design class. In addition many tips and tricks have been learned that allow ease of maintenance and general boat care.
