Congratulations to Kermit, Blue Pearl, and Mizu for finishing 1,2,3 in the Spinnaker Class skippered by Marc Vaderschalie, Bob Abelin and Rob Anderson. Also to Osprey, Yellow Jacket, and Scout in the Working Sails class skippered by Sean Randle, Wes Vaughn, and Paul Von Stubbe!

The Randle's had a very dominating performance, winning with nothing but Bullets, but only 1 point seperated 2nd and 3rd places so still some very tight racing going on. Who thinks the Randle's need to move up to Spinnaker next year? I do! I do! I do!

In the Spinnaker class, this was a very competitive year with 4 different boats out of 9 getting firsts. Wooglin made a bold statement right off the bat winning the first race, but Kermit wasn't going to be denied and quickly sent a rebuttal Wooglin's way. Not to be left out Blue Pearl made sure to make a game of it with a bullet in the 3rd race of the 1st day.

Rob Anderson Skippering Mizu made a game of it in the 4th race on Saturday and took the win from Kermit by a few minutes at the finish line in some incredibly light and agonizing winds. Sunday was a tough day with tough weather but Kermit took the win in 2 out of 3 races for the overall lead with Blue Pearl in second, and the tie between Mizu and Wooglin was soundly broken.

The class as a whole in the PNW seems to be getting tighter and tighter. In each class you had skippers from 3 different fleets representing the top 3. We had boats from Oregon, Montana, Wenatchee Wa, Seattle Wa, and Idaho all seeing top 3 finishes.

Keep up the great work guys, and see you next year!
