Converting from Bolt Rope to Sail Slides

I installed these myself on my bolt rope sail as I found the slugs much easier to use when single handing. These are what I used from West Marine. Other stores out there should have these as well.

You will also need one Sail Slide Stop. You want the one on the left side most of the image below.

I bought my grommet kit and grommets at Home Depot. I found the ones that they sell at West Marine are way over priced and provide you with only half the kit. I believe I used the 1/2 inch sized ones.

Here is a photo of everything put together. I cut a little X with an exacto knife at the spot where I wanted to install the grommet.
