Can you believe it’s the last race of the year this weekend?
Another year of Fleet 1 racing almost done, and your last chance to put on or take off a few more points from your Season standings. Looks like there’s a few close races going on.
As far as Season High Points goes, Paul Von Stubbe has had a pretty dominating year overall, but in the Fall Series Mike Dukes and Paul are tied for 1st place so it all comes down to this last race for these two. Chris Popich has been pretty dominating in the all sails season hi points as well and as above it should be hard to overtake him. But only 3 points separate Jessie and Charmed Juan for 2nd place so there should be some good match racing going on with those two this weekend.
The fall series all sails has a serious dog fight going on right now. Only 6 points separate the 1-3rd places of Wooglin, Jessie, and Charmed Juan. PGS Juan isn’t far behind either, only 6 back of Charmed Juan, and with it’s years of experience behind the helm could easily throw a wrench into the works during this race too.
We’re Racing at Gene Coulon Park in Renton this weekend. 1130am Start time on the dot... I know the weather isn’t looking incredible but this is sailing, and the weather is looking up compared to the past few days’ chances of snow.
So come on out everyone! and if you can’t make it to this race, be sure to make it to the Christmas Party on Dec 5th. It’s always nice to see your fleet mates when you’re NOT pushing them over the start line early.
