Up next on the Fleet 1 Calendar is the Rigging Clinic
In the past we've done a "rigging AND racing" clinic but found it was a bit too much to do in one day. So this year the main focus will be on "Rigging" your boats.
For those of you that haven't had things measured in a while, such as the black bands on your mast or boom, Chris Popich will be bringing some Automotive pin stripe tape to mark things out. Bring your boat down, we'll measure, apply the black bands, and ensure your boat is legal.
This clinic isn't just limited to measuring these bands, but other member's are willing to check your boat out, and look out for any "gotcha" areas that need attention or fixing.
If you're a new SJ21 owner, we'll show you how to set it all up and get your boat out on the water. Bascially... anything you want to do, we'll show you how, look it over, and let you know of any safety violations:)
