Our first fleet race of the spring is this weekend, April 9th at Coulon Park in Renton. We're hoping to do something a little different this time - a race around Mercer Island, winds permitting. Jim Miller has researched the bridges involved and will have information about that on Saturday.
Normal race start this time of year is noon, but please be there early. There will be a skippers meeting to discuss race details including the decision of where to race, the bridges, an overall time limit, and getting everyone's cell number to make sure we can all communicate during a long race.
