Annual Chelan Sailing Regatta
And C-Lark 14 World
Championship |
|
Well, we might be pushing it a
bit with the C-Lark world championship thing
since it is about the only C-Lark race we know of but think
big right?
The Lake Chelan
Sailing Association is pleased to invite you to sail in our
annual regatta September 10 &
11.
This event is open
to all sailboats and we will award one design classes fielding
three or more boats and rate everyone else according to
Portsmouth ratings.
Our event is known
far and wide for cheap trophies but lots of fun sailing on
fresh clean water and a decent party on Saturday
night.
To keep your cost
down we offer free camping for tents and RVs at the Jones
place located 2 miles from the race venue. Send your
registration today!

Why Regatta?
The regatta helps fund our free community
sailing lessons and other boating education
programs.
We model this event to give sailors a chance to
race whether it is their first time racing or they have earned
national titles. While we try to operate an organized event we
try not to be stuck up about it and want everyone to have a
safe and fun time on the water. It isn't about the cheap
awards, it's about sailing, meeting new sailing friends and
pushing your skills.
We know travel can be expensive so we talk the City
into waiving launch and parking fees and offer free camping
offsite. The registration fee of $25 is about the lowest you
will find for an event, you are welcome to pay more if you
wish. If you want in-water moorage the City will charge for
that and you should make your reservations soon (see
NOR). |
